Dutch Lap Siding Chicago
The Dutch Lap Siding Chicago Project, 60617, began when Mr. Braham called Uhlmann Home Improvement to discuss siding on the garage. The existing garage was wood framed with terribly rotten wood. He already had a green door installed by WH Wood. Frank from WH wood recommended Uhlmann Home Improvement to the Braham family. I showed him several siding. He and his wife fell in love with the dutch lap siding in particular. The dutch lap siding has a unique curve appeal and resembles a log cabin finish.
We also trimmed out the facia board in green to match the garage door. We also covered the trim around the garage door and the service door to add an additional touch of elegance. Uhlmann Home Improvement provided eight Alside UltraMaxx white double-hung replacement windows with low-e and argon glass; and covered the existing trim in white.
The Dutch Lap Siding Chicago Project was completed on October 5th 2004.
The Braham family called Uhlmann in 2005 to provide them with one Home Guard white Century 34×80 storm and screen door. This same project included the purchase of one CastleGate Steel Entry Door 36×78 in green, that was installed to secure the garage. Dutch Lap Siding Chicago Project 2 was completed 2005.
